Nick Avery Design has worked on all kinds of books from ‘key stage’ educational titles to large ‘coffee table’ books like Street fighting Years - The Rolling Stones or Vanishing Amazon - Mirella Riccardi. NAD has styled lead titles for major publishers and worked on books tied-in to major film releases like Spiderman, Transformers and Star Wars, as well as designing companion books to television series such as Primeval and the BBC series Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Stars.

NAD's contibution to design may involve styling a lead title, developing a series style, designing to a tried and tested template or just helping out when either deadlines or book fairs make an extra team player a must. Throughout, emphasis is placed on building
long-term relationships based on trust and results, enabling the development of long-term strategies and the continued realisation of ongoing projects without the need to continually re-assess the creative relationship.

Attention to detail and the ability to produce creative design on time on budget has enabled NAD to develop and maintain successful publishing partnerships since 1992.
